Prescription Details

We operate under strict guidance.

Lens Wear can only process your Spectacle order if the following is provided and agreed:

a) A Spectacle prescription is provided by a registered ophthalmic optician or a registered medical practitioner which is not more than 24 months old.

We will trust that you have entered your prescription details correctly. The spectacles provided will contain the lenses matching your details entered.
You may enter your opticians details when you make an order for us to verify your prescription (Beware - some practices require you to contact them to provide us authorisation to contact them).

You may post the original copy of your prescription to us, which will be returned with your order.

b) You are ordering the spectacles for yourself only.

c) You are over 16 years old.

d) You are not registered partially sighted or blind.

If you do not know your PD (pupillary distance) measurement we will automatically set it to 63mm for distance glasses and 60mm for reading glasses.
We recommend you consult your optician to obtain an accurate measurement.

We will not provide spectacles over 8 dioptres in power (this includes sphere value added to cylindrical power)

Note: Your spectacle prescription legally belongs to you.

We take no liability if any of the above is supplied to us inaccurately.

100% Satisfaction Guaranteed

If you are not 100% satisfied with the product you have ordered then we will refund your money providing your goods are returned to us immediately unopened, unmarked and undamaged in their original packaging.

Unfortunately Spectacle orders that have been made to your prescription cannot be returned for a refund (unless faulty - 1 years warranty)

You may try out sunglasses/goggles for suitability. If they are not suitable they must be returned immediately in an immaculate and re-saleable condition and you will be refunded your order minus a re-stocking charge of £4.00. This will need to be returned to us by recorded delivery. Please allow up to 2 weeks for the request to be fulfilled. Refunds will be credited to the payment card used to purchase the goods.

UK Delivery – 2 to 15 working days depending upon product type
EU – 3 to 18 working days depending upon product type
USA – 7 to 28 working days depending upon product type

UK Delivery
All items dispatched to a UK address include Free Delivery.

All items are sent either by Royal Mail 1st Class (up to £30.00 in value), 1st Class Recorded delivery (£30.00 to £100.00), or Special delivery (items over £100.00) free of charge.

EU/USA Delivery

EU Delivery charge: £3.50
USA Delivery charge: £5.00

Any USA customer will be charged Import Tax of which Lens Wear Ltd is not liable for and is the sole responsibility of the customer to pay this fee.

Product Dispatch

All products are dispatched on clearance of funds and subject to availability

Price and Payment

All items will be charged in UK Pounds Sterling (£). The currency rates shown on our site is for GUIDANCE ONLY and the actual rate charged to your payment card may vary slightly.

Eye Health

We recognise the importance of regular eye examinations and contact lens consultations. Please follow the advice of your optician or contact lens practitioner.

Should you experience any form of eye discomfort or redness of the eyes we recommend that you remove your contact lenses immediately and seek the advise of your optician.

We will not accept responsibility if your optician or contact lens practitioner has advised you to stop wearing lenses in the last 12 months.
