Serengeti® Polar PhD™ lenses are built on the revolutionary NXT® lens platform, combining Serengeti's state-of-the-art Spectral Control® technology with the superior attributes of Trivex® material – lightweight and durable with superior optical quality. Serengeti Polar PhD lenses withstand the harshest environmental conditions and provide protection from UV radiation and high velocity impact without compromising visual performance.

Common to all Serengeti lenses, the Polar PhD lens delivers proprietary Spectral Control, providing unparallel contrast and superior colour enhancement by filtering out specific colours within the visible light spectrum. This results in crisper colour and clearer images. All Serengeti lenses block distracting blue light, eliminating 'blue blur' that leads to eye strain and fatigue.

Along with Spectral Control, superior optics, and polarised photochromic properties, the Serengeti Polar PhD lens boasts an anti-scratch hard coat, seven layer backside anti-reflective coating, and oleo phobic coating technology for oil and water resistance.
